When is the Collateral Returned?

The collateral will be returned once the licensed bail bond agent receives notification from the court that the bail bond has been discharged. The Bond Discharge document releases the bail bond agent from any further liability or responsibility on that particular bail bond or surety bond. This document traditionally takes anywhere between 7 to 10 days for the bail bond agent to receive once the case has been finalized.
